The Product is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service (a) for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase when delivered to you in new condition in its original container or (b) for (1) year from the date of original purchase for refurbished Products. Product returned to a Canon USA repair facility or a Canon USA Authorized Service Facility ("ASF"), and proven to be defective upon inspection will be (a) repaired utilizing new, remanufactured, repaired and/or recycled parts (b) exchanged for new or; exchanged for a refurbished Product, as determined by the Canon USA repair facility or the ASF. Warranty repair or replacement shall not extend the original warranty period of the Product. A dated proof of purchase is required at the time of warranty service. A copy of your dated bill of sale will satisfy this requirement. This warranty does not cover any accessories, or any consumables, such as paper or ink cartridges, as to which there shall be no warranty or replacement.


(a) Loss of or damage to the Product due to abuse, neglect, mishandling, improper packaging by you, alteration, accident, electrical current fluctuations, improper use, failure to follow operating or maintenance instructions in, or environmental conditions prescribed in, Canon USA's user's manual or other documentation, or services performed by someone other than a Canon USA repair facility or ASF. Without limiting the foregoing, dropping the Product, scratches, and abrasions will be presumed to have resulted from misuse, abuse or failure to operate the Product as set forth in the user's manual or other documentation for the Product.(b) Use of parts, media, software or supplies (other than those sold by Canon USA), including non-Canon ink cartridges or refilled ink cartridges, that cause damage to the Product or cause abnormally frequent service calls or service problems. If the Product has had its serial number or dating defaced, altered or removed.

On my MG2550 cleaned the absorber sponge and everything like it had to be done. But already tried ALL the POWER-RESET/STOP button ideas. Tried it in service mode with Service Tool V: 3400 3600 3800 3900 the printing eeprom is working, but in lights test or what I really want absorber counter reset, the programs allways freezed. On the versions 4200 4718 and 4907 the counter reset is earned by a massive 002 error code, so the printer doesn't understand the command. What should I do more?

7. SPECIAL NOTES ON SERVICING 7-1. Resetting the Main and PlatenWaste Ink Counters The counters for the main waste ink absorber andthe platen waste ink absorber can be reset separately. At waste inkabsorber replacement, using the iP1500 service tool, reset theapplicable waste ink counter(s). (When both the main and platenwaste ink absorbers are replaced, reset both the main and platenwaste ink counters.) 1. Error check At a waste ink full error (95%or full), identify which waste ink abosrber is full, the main orthe platen, using the iP1500 service tools EEP-ROM INFORMATION, Ddor Ds values, as the error itself does not indicate which waste inkabsorber is full. (See APPENDIX 2, iP1500 SERVICE TOOL, fordetails). Then, replace the applicable waste ink absorber. - Dd:Main waste ink absorber amount (128,400 mg at 95% full, 135,200 mgat full) - Ds: Platen waste ink absorber amount (7,220 mg at 95%full, 7,600 mg at full) 2. Resetting the replaced waste inkabsorber counter - At main waste ink absorber replacement: In theiP1500 service tool CLEAR WASTE INK COUNTER section, click MAIN toreset the main waste ink counter value. - At platen waste inkabsorber replacement: In the iP1500 service tool CLEAR WASTE INKCOUNTER section, click PLATEN to reset the platen waste ink countervalue. 2ff7e9595c
